Bear’s Garlic

This is a perennial wild plant that loves shady places and moist soils. It usually grows in forests. It has lanceolate leaves and the flowers are white and grow as an umbel. They have a very strong garlic odour thus the name.

Properties and Use

This is a very good astringent and expectorant and may also be used for treating bronchitis, but also constipation or diarrhoea.
