This is a perennial plant that grows in European forests. It is a low plant, with two stems rising above the ground and ending with kidney like dark green leaves. It has solitary  flowers that are brown on the outside and dark red on the inside.

Properties and Use

It is mainly used as an emetic.  But it is also has diuretic, purgative and cathartic effects and should only be used under medical instructions.
