Licorice
This is perennial plant that grows in the wild but it is also cultivated in some parts of the world. The leaves have an odd number of ovate leaflets and the flowers grow in axillary racemes.
Properties and Use
This plant is mainly used for cold symptoms as it has demulcent and expectorant properties. It is also a diuretic and it is indicated for bladder and kidney affections.
