Passive smoking

Also known as secondary smoking, the involuntary inhalation of tobacco smoke by those people who do not smoke.  In adults passive smoking increases the risk of smoking related diseases like coronary artery disease and lung cancer.  In babies and children, it heightens the risk of sudden infant death syndrome and ear and chest infections; it also makes children more susceptible to developing asthma.
