Ventricle aneurysm

A balloon like bulge in the wall of the left ventricle of the heart (the chamber that pumps oxygen filled blood around the body). Frequently developing as a result of myocardial infection (heart attack), ventricle aneurysm can, in turn lead to heart failure (reduced pumping efficiency) or arrhythmias (abnormal heart rhythms). Another plausible complication is that a blood clot may for within the bulge, and fragments can become dislodged and travel around the circulation to block blood vessels elsewhere within the human body.
